​WELCOME!
​Social Work Center-Nepal (SWCN) is an organization for Youth especially for youths and children. It is a non-political, not profit making, non-government and pure humanitarian organization recently operating at Gorkha District. It is due to get legal status from District Administration Office and affiliation to Social Welfare Council. The organization was founded in 2069 B.S. (2012 A.D.) by a group of young and motivated youths who had overcome immense obstacles of poverty, gender, employment and discrimination and is run by them.

Its main objective is the empowerment of youths and children. It is working in rural Nepal promoting solidarity for youth across poverty-gender-employment lines and empowering them through education, micro finance & entrepreneurship, human rights awareness and skill training.

Through education, micro finance & entrepreneurship, human rights awareness and skill training, saving groups and awareness programs the youth become catalysts for social change, especially in terms of youth's & children's education, sustainable micro entrepreneurship, domestic violence and caste-class-gender relations. SWC-Nepal aims to foster a measure of economic independence, to boost self-esteem, and to instill solidarity and a sense of national pride. SWC-Nepal currently operates in Gorkha.
